Autie Ison, entered into eternity on Thursday, May 26, 2016 with a smile, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Autie was born March 21, 1933 in Lucille, Kentucky, to the late Oscar and Cora (Fannin) Ison, spending his youth in his beloved Crocket and West Liberty.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Denver, James, Bill, Emerson and Russell. A gentle and playful man, who always made his family laugh, Autie is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Bertha, daughters Tammy (Henry) Sexton and Carla (Lance) Boswell, son Steve Ison; grandchildren Hallie, Mallory, Andrew, Emma, Leah and Summer; sister Alta Blevins; brothers- and sisters-in-law Genett Ison, Betty Ison, Judy (Dean) Penrod, and Jim Pennington, and several nieces and nephews.
