Barbara A. Marsh

Barbara A. Marsh, 82, died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 in Columbus, OH. Barbara was born in Fayette, New York to Clare and Elsa Stahl.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Burt R. Marsh; children, Tammi (Joe McGuire) Marsh, and Tina (Jeffery) Barton; and two granddaughters, Heather Nisbet and Lindsay Bill.

Barbara graduated from Mynderse Academy in Seneca Falls, NY in 1950. She was an avid golfer and spent several years as a member of The Hamburg Women's Golf Club. She loved playing bridge with several bridge groups in Hamburg, NY; in fact, she loved any card game. During her life in Hamburg, she belonged to the Hamburg Presbyterian Church. Barbara was very active in playing games with her granddaughters of whom she cherished. Her other hobbies included dancing, reading, walking, traveling, movies, flower gardening (especially roses), walking and spending time with family. She was a homemaker as well as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will always be remember by her loving smile.

A Memorial Service will be held in Hamburg, NY at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Seneca Falls Public Library, 47 Cayuga St. Seneca Falls, NY 13148.
