Barbara Chancey

Barbara June Chancey born June 5, 1946, passed away February 7, 2016. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Daniel Chancey; children, Nancy Coleman, Gary Terry, Tina (Marty) Kennedy, Richard (Rhonda) Terry, Jeffery Terry, Daniel "Danny" Chancey III, Angela (Chris) Fee, Theresa Chancey, and Pamela Peters; mother, Dorothy Highlander; sisters, Sharon (Dave) Chilson, Betty (Bill) Cooper, Shirley (Dave) Vanslyke, Brenda (Kelly) Wilson, and Tammy (Bob) Highlander Hill; sisters-in-law, Lee Parfitt and Terry Jo Hurt; brothers, Benson "Bub" Highlander, Carl "Rick" (Brenda) Highlander, Brian Highlander, and Jim (Connie) Highlander; as well as 26 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends. She was loved by many.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Highlander; sister, Della Burns; son, Carl David Terry; and Herbert Lee Terry.

She was a loving, beautiful wife; a grateful, loyal, and loving mother; and true friend to her sisters and brothers and close friends. She had a smile that made everything okay. She went beyond her means to help anyone and everyone. She had a true heart of gold.

Visitation Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 at 11 am with visitation one hour prior at the Funeral Home.
