Barbara Jean Cox

Barbara Cox (Mack) was born April 24, 1942, to Donald and Edith Mack.

Barbara was the neighborhood mother, always had an open door for those who needed it. She raised many children and loved each and every one of them. She never forgot who they were. Her heart was as big as this world. She had love for everyone.

Barbara was married to Louie E. Cox for 64 years

Barbara will be deeply missed by Louie

She is survived by her children: Lou Wona Cox-Northern (Daniel), Re’Gina Zinimon (Jeffrey) and Edith Adolph-Lucas (Gerald); grandchildren: Arthur, Allen, Jezmen(Taylor), Cyera, Davounte, Cydney, Monae, Auante, Kelsey, Aarianna, Cyenna, Alanna, 26 beautiful great-grandchildren, brother: David Mack (Ronnie), and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her siblings: John Richard, Maxine Moore, Audrey Johnson, Donald Mack, Patricia Bayless, Betty Wimbley, and Dorthea Young; loving brother-in-law Roger Hartranft, and grandson: Dajuan Cox
