Barbara Doss

Mrs. Barbara Doss, our lovely and loving Mom, Aunt and Grandma, 82, of Grove City passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020. She was the 9th child born to Morris and Geneva Lewis, in Columbus, Ohio. She was married to the love of her life, the late MSGT (Retired USAF) Donald (Corbett) for 49 years and was blessed with children Morris (Cindi) of Aurora, CO, Corbett Jr. of Columbus, Thomas of Grove City, Barbie of Columbus, Kenneth of Grove City, her sweet poodleman Bart , as well as beautiful grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many special and loved friends.

She loved immensely and was incredibly generous with family and friends, and loved to host social gatherings and parties. She lived in Madrid, Spain, as well as several US cities, loved family, friends, hand written cards and notes, good food, playing Euchre, watching OSU football, watching golf, attending social gatherings, and enjoyed cruises to the Caribbean. She was retired as an office manager after working for many years. Her hobbies and interests included her beloved Amazing Grace Christian Church in Grove City, her dear Red Hat Society and Amazing Chicks ladies groups.

A 10 person at a time maximum viewing and visitation with masks will be held at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL on Broadway in Grove City, Ohio on Thursday November 19, 2020 from 1 -2 pm. At approximately 2:15pm we will be police escorted in procession to a grave side social distancing service and internment next to her late husband Don at Concord Cemetery in Grove City. Pastors Dr. Ron Sams and Tom Alexander will officiate the service. Masks are required to attend services.
