Barbara Edington

Barbara Edington, age 79, passed away on May 10, 2020. She was born on February 20, 1941 in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late William and Ernestine Bunce. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Edington; sister, Sandra Achord; grandson, James. Survived by her children, Terri (Rick) Hunter, Brian (Kristin) Edington, Christy (Stacey) Greenhaw, and Craig (Linda) Edington; sister, Michelle "Missy" Gjurecech; brothers, William (Sandy) Bunce Jr. and Michael (Robin) Bunce; grandchildren, Alicia, John "Bo", Jennifer, Sarah (Andy), Josh (Holly), Taylor (Joe), Jessica (Tim), Tommy (Jes), Zac, Brittney, Nicholas (Melissa), Daniel (Sara); 19 great grandchildren; many brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends. Barbara was active with youths over the years as a Girl Scout Leader and a Brownie Leader. She was also a Treasurer for the Binns Bengal Little League Football. Retired from the State of Ohio Board of Building Standards. Avid sports fan who loved traveling. Private family services are being entrusted to the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
