Barbara Jean Haines (née Struck), of Grove City, OH, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018, surrounded by her children, at the age of 72.
Barb was born to parents Arthur and Marion Struck on August 2, 1946 in Mentor, OH, where she grew up and attended Mentor High School. Barb married the love of her life, Michael Haines, settled in Grove City, OH, where they raised their two children, daughter Christine Taylor, and son, Patrick (PJ) Haines.
She worked for, and retired from, the Ohio Department of Transportation. Barb was a life-long Ohio State fan, never missing a Saturday Buckeye game, but adored nothing more than her five grandchildren.
Barb is survived by her daughter, Christine (Bryan) Taylor; her son, Patrick "PJ" (Jesse) Haines; her grandchildren, Avery, Ellie, Jake, Hank, and Millie; her sister, Marty (William) Allmon; brother William (Jody) Struck; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Haines; and her parents, Arthur and Marion Struck.
A graveside service will be held for family and friends at Grove City Cemetery-New Section on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11:30am.
