Barbara J. Cheeseman
July 29, 1929 — January 18, 2016
Barbara Jean Cheeseman, age 86, who went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ Monday, January 18, 2016, was blessed in death with relief from pain and assurance of salvation and blessed in life with a 66-year marriage, five daughters and three granddaughters.
She is survived by her husband, Royce Cheeseman; daughters, Shari (Dave) Schweigler, Debbie Kayse, Bonnie (Eric) Thomas, Jeanie Cheeseman, and Julie (Brad) Myers; Grammy's girls, Jessica Kayse, Olivia and Laine Myers; and sister, Doris Greene Weate.
Her parents Eugene and Beatrice Rarick and brother Robert Rarick preceded her in death.
She devoted her life to caring for her family and to Christian service. She was a faithful member of North Park Church of Christ and previously Northeast Church of Christ since Baptism in 1948.
"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess for He who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at North Park Church of Christ, 4938 Westerville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 11:00am also at North Park Church of Christ preceded by a visitation from 10:00am to 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Park Church of Christ, Haiti Mission Trip.
