Barbara Jane Lacey

Barbara Jane Lacey, age 78, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Friendship Village. She was born in Columbus, OH on November 24, 1938 to the late John and Naomi Lacey.
She taught at Columbus City Schools for 37 years. She loved to travel to Hawaii and many other places with her family.
Barbara is preceded in death by her grandparents, Thomas and Zola Lacey; aunt Annie (Bud) Bobst and many cousins. She is survived by her adopted daughter, Kelly (Randy) Paternoster and their children, Alexis and Cody and Cameron Allen; her many friends and students.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm, Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville, Columbus, OH 43214, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, August 11, 2017. Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
