Barbara Manter

Barbara Ann Manter, 82, passed away on December 19, 2013. She was born on March 13, 1931 to Carl and Hilda Bohn.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Manter; daughter, Vicki Manter; and grandson, Matthew Anderson.
Barbara is survived by her children Robert Vance, Larry (Christine) Manter, Donna (Douglas) Anderson, and Doris (Carl) Whalen; sister, Margaret McIlwayne; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.
Barbara had many interests, including playing bingo, playing Wii Bowling, doing puzzles, and playing Rummy. She loved listening to country music and was a huge Ohio State Football fan. Barbara loved spending time with her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Visitation will be from 4-8pm, Monday, December 23, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231. Services will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, December 24, 2013 also at Newcomer Funeral Home. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerColumbus.com.
