Barbara Jean McCormack

Barbara Jean McCormack, age 78, of Westerville, Ohio passed away on May 24, 2026. Barbara was born in Lima, Ohio on October 29, 1947 to the late Raymond Tullis and Ivarine (Freels) Monfort.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Sheri (Beane) McCormack, and step-father, Robert "Bob" Monfort.

She is lovingly survived by her son, Michael (Michelle) McCormack, sister, Carol Covington, half-brother, Clifford Owens, and grandsons, Ben and Sam McCormack.

Barbara graduated from Spencerville High School and spent many years as a legal assistant. She was very passionate about the organization ToastMaster's International. She was also a proud member of the Unity Church of Christianity. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, word search puzzles, astrology, and spending time with her family.

She will be deeply missed.

Per Barb's wishes a dignified cremation will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a future date.
