Barbara Jo New, 61, of Gahanna, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011 at her residence. She was born October 3, 1949, in Columbus. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Groves. She is survived by her husband, Raymond New; son, Chris New; granddaughter, Cierra New; mother, Grace Groves; brothers, John Groves, Paul Groves and Dave (Sherry) Groves. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd Columbus. Funeral service will be Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
