Barbara Ellen Sammons Runyon, 64, passed away June 26, 2017. She was preceded in death by parents, Hershel Sammons and Edna Cartwright; father of her daughter, Donald Thomas I; step-son, Donald Thomas II; brothers, Charles Lewis Sammons and Daniel J. Sammons; and niece, Buffy Renee Sammons.
Barbara is survived by husband, James R. Flowers; daughter, Christina Runyon Mader; step-children, Landa Ditmars, Angie Flowers, and Christina Flowers; many grandchildren, including, Misty Dawn Meinen and Malaina Mackenzie Mader; many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; siblings, Patricia Harman, Roger Sammons, Sharon Sammons Pogash, Vicky Sue Sammons, and Timothy Sammons.
Barbara was a member of Shawnee Mission Church. She enjoyed animals, wearing jewelry, and was a Betty Boop fan. Above all she loved her family.
Visitation Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 4pm until the time of Funeral Service at 6pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
