Barbara Anne Truman

Barbara A. Truman, 91, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. Barbara was born on April 20, 1934, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Martin Stoffel and Mary Van Dyke.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, husband William H. Truman, her son William Neil (Lorrie) Truman, and granddaughter Andrea Ellen Truman.

She is survived by children: Anne (Gregg) Eddy, Sara (Ted) Newman, and Andrew (Nancy)Truman, grandchildren: Nicholas (Heather) Truman, Buck (Jillian) Newman, Daniel (Taylor) Newman, Jay Truman, Alex Truman, Sutton Truman, Valerie Truman, Katie Newman, Jackson Eddy, Regina Eddy, Alexis (Rob) Lince, great-grandchildren: Anthony Truman, Ashley Truman, Parker Newman, Syria Jordan, Scarlett Truman, Finn Newman, and many nieces and nephews.

"Grandma Donut" was loved by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Michael Church, where she prayed for her children's "sorry souls". She will be greatly missed by her many friends in Worthington, OH. She was a founding member of the M&M's, her lifelong Summer Sisters. She will be greatly missed by her beloved cat Leroy.
