Benjamin Alpha Kalokoh, 64, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 in Westerville, OH. He was born on March 3, 1952 in Sierra Leone to Kaprie and Mariama Kalokoh.
Benjamin is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Alice John.
He is survived by wife, Jane Kalokoh; daughters, Jane Massaquoi, Sallay Conteh and Alma Kanu; grandchildren, Victor, Emmanuel and Isaac Massaquoi; sister, Roseline Langley; and several cousins, nieces and family friends.
Benjamin was a dedicated employee at HCR Uptown Manor Care and belonged to Faith Life Family Church pastored by Dan Cascioli. He was a family man who enjoyed being around his grandchildren. Benjamin loved telling stories and his favorite pastime was watching soccer. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 9:00am to 9:30am at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231 followed by Funeral Services at 9:30am. He will be laid to rest at Blendon Central Cemetery.
