Bernice Downard, age 94, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 with her family be her side.
Employment included Omar Bakeries and The Salvation Army Thrift Stores, where she retired from after 30 years of service.
Surviving family includes sons, Bill (Elly) Downard, Tom Downard; grandchildren, Tara, Chad (Tonia), Bobby (Tamara), Tony, Jeff, Chris, Tracy; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces, Linda Evans, Adelyn, Charlotte, Juanita, Elaine.
Preceded in death by husband, James Downard; sons, Robert and James Downard Jr.; daughter-in-law, Cindy Downard.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Where funeral service will be held immediately following.
Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
