Bessie Lee Daugherty

Bessie Daugherty, age 80, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018. She was born on October 25, 1937 in Selina, TN. Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving family includes children, Hugh Brown Daugherty III, Paul Christopher (Ramona) Daugherty, Tracy Lee (Connie) Daugherty, Christina Lynn (Glenn) West and Kathrine Murphy (Gary) Hardin; grandchildren, James C. (Anna) Daugherty, Shauna (Brian) McGraw, Christopher Daugherty, Hannah Daugherty, Amanda Daugherty, Spencer R. Daugherty, Thomas B. West, Joshua L. Murphy, Trever A. (Madeline Shields) Murphy, Garrett Q. Hardin, Jacob "Peanut" Hardin; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Jacob, Madison, Addison, Raelyn, Myra, David and Wyatt; siblings, Nellie Denton, Amos Green and Minnie Kobel; beloved pet, Star.

Preceded in death by parents Edgar and Sinda Green; siblings, James E. Green and Diana Elsie Green; grandchildren, Asliene and Caitlyn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bessie's name to The Zangmeister Cancer Center, 3100 Plaza Properties Blvd, Columbus, OH 43219.

Please join us in celebrating the life of Bessie L. Daugherty. We are gathering at the home, 268 Demorest Rd., Columbus, OH 43204 on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 commencing at 6 PM. We will have a potluck meal so your contributions will be greatly appreciated as we share in memory.
