Betty Rose Allen

Betty Rose (Hussell) Allen, beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandma and great-grandma, passed away peacefully into eternal life on August 8, 2025 after an 11 year battle with cancer. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis E. Hussell and Mary Emma (Thornton) Hussell and brothers, Bernard, Vernon and Kenneth. Also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Robert E. Lee Allen; son, Gary R. Allen and son-in-law, Richard K. Householder, Jr.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Brenda L. (Allen) Householder, and Kimberley A. (Allen) Chandler and husband Kevin L. Chandler. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Allison (Zack) King, Chrissy Allen, Danielle (Justin) Reckner, Joey (Hope) Householder, Michael Allen, Kristen Chandler, 3 great-grandchildren, Adrienne and Yuna Reckner, Logan King; and brother, Lewis Parke (Barbara) Hussell.

Betty was a member of the Southwestern Church of Christ in Grove City, Ohio for many years. She was always involved in her church and a very loving and giving person.

She was employed and retired from Saxton Real Estate after 48 years of service in Accounting.

Betty was a beautiful Christian woman who loved her family very much and had many wonderful close friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. A funeral service will be the following day, Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 10:00am, then to Sunset Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
