Betty Carletta Francis

Betty Carletta (Tucker) Francis went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Aug. 20, 2016 surrounded by family. She was born in Columbus, OH, July 24, 1939. She was the daughter of Pearl and Clara Tucker who preceded her. Survived by loving husband, Berman E. Francis of 59 years. Also preceded in death by brother, Bill Tucker; sister, Anna Decker; brothers-in-law, Jerry Viers, Dee Francis, Ernie Francis, Harold Sheets, and Norman Miller; sisters-in-law, Jean Tucker, Madonna Miller, and Deanna Sheets; mother-in-law, Monea Francis; father-in-law, Gilbert Francis.

Survived by husband, Berman; sons, James (Melanie) Francis and Charles (Lisa) Francis; sister, Judy Viers; brother, John (Debbie) Tucker; sister-in-law, Ellen Francis; grandchildren, Jamie, Lee (Genoa) Madison, and Kasey Francis; two great-grandchildren; and tons of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family always came first. She loved her animals, was a fan of Elvis and Ronnie McDowell, Cleveland Browns and OSU Men's Basketball, and an avid NASCAR fan.

The family would like to thank Dr. Chitkara, Dr. Said, and staff, Mt. Carmel Hospital, and a huge thank you to Mt. Carmel Hospice.

Visitation Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016 at 2pm with visitation one hour prior, also at the funeral home.
