Betty Ann Faulkner, 87, of Grove City, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026. She was born on July 22, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio, to John and Anne (Coccia) Faulkner. Betty retired as a secretary for the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. She had a deep love for travel and cherished sharing stories of the many places she visited throughout her life. An avid reader, she was rarely without a book in hand, and she could just as easily lose herself in a favorite movie or live stage performance. Betty adored dessert and the color purple, two simple joys she passed down through three generations of her family. Known for her quick wit, warm heart, and wonderful sense of humor, Betty found joy in life’s little moments. She treasured her many friendships and had a smile that could light up a room. Betty was survived by and will be forever missed by her daughter, Lisa (Jason) Lelux; grandchildren Kayla (Kym) Dittemer, Cody and Austin Scites, and Clayton and Justin Lelux; great-granddaughter Delilah Scites; brother Robert Faulkner; and three nieces and their families. She is also survived by her faithful feline companion, Peaches. Like her favorite singer, Frank Sinatra, Betty’s memory will live on in the spotlight. Full of sass until the very end, she lived a life rich with laughter, love, and independence. And more, much more than this… she did it her way.
