Betty Jo Hayman, 71, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 23, 2016. She was born to Lynn and Irene Blankenship on December 1, 1944 in Gilbert, West Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Tim Cossin.
Betty is survived by her husband of 31years, Mike Smith; daughters, Cindy Myers and Leigh Ann Patton; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Betty Jo will be missed by many other family members and friends that are too numerous to name.
Betty was a great wife, mother and grandmother. She always shopped for her children and grandkids. Her family will feel her loss deeply. Her husband will always miss her dearly.
She loved to find a great deal when she shopped. She was a flea market fanatic and always looked for the next great find. She loved going to bingo with her mother-in-law.
Donations may be made in Betty's name to Betty Hayman, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 to help the family with expenses.
The family will have a private memorial service for close family and friends at a future time.
