Betty J. Hedegard, age 86, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016.
Betty worked as the Executive Administrator Assistant for Franklin County Children Services.
Surviving family includes daughters, Andra (Truman) Mullins, Karly (Russell) Butler; grandchildren, Dawn (Martin), Sarah (Christopher), Kirstin (Dan) and Taylor (Nicholas); great-grandchildren, Darian, Natalia, Hayden, Lucas, Maxim, Logan and Emeri; brothers, Richard (Sherry), Ralph, Raymond (Sandy), Perry; sisters, Geraldine (Tom) and Cheryl (Mike); sister-in-law, Thelma.
Preceded in death by parents, Chauncy and Pearl Shepard; brother, Ronald; sister-in-law, Janet.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 2-6PM at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
Funeral service will be held Monday, December 19, 2016 at 1:00PM at the funeral home.
Burial to follow in Concord Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Dr, Columbus, OH 43214
