Betty J. Howard, 82, of Orient, passed away Aug. 4, 2017.
She was preceded in death by husband of 61 years, Bob Howard; parents, Francis Layton and Minnie Shoemaker; sons, Ronnie and Dennis Howard.
Betty is survived by children, Robin Howard and Edward Howard; grandchildren, James and Julia Yoder, Misty, Regina, and Darin; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Patty (Chuck) Howard and Mary Funk.
She worked for the state of Ohio, Westinghouse, and as a housekeeper. Betty enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, and watching and listening to bluegrass music.
Visitation Wed., Aug. 9, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Thurs., Aug. 10, 2017 at 10am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery - old, Grove City, OH.
