Betty Jo Jones, 86, of Columbus, passed away February 1, 2020.
Betty was born April 19, 1933 to Zettie and Roosevelt (Crenshaw) Wilkerson. She attended World Harvest Church and Higher Ground Always Abounding Assembly's. Betty retired after 35 years at Ohio State University Hospital Phlebotomy Supervisor and also worked at Wexner Heritage Village Shalom House for 10 years. She was a loving foster parent for 10 years.
Betty will be deeply missed by her; children Regina D. Williams, Karen N. Swan, Alethea J. Williams, Zanetta L. Lyons; grandchildren Nashon (Darci) Swan, LaTasha Williams-Calmese, Renato Swan, Tiffany Croom, Antoinette Jones, Charles Lyons, Jazmine Franklin, Brandee Croom, Jordan Lyons; great-grandchildren Jordan, Erica, Kaila, Raevon, Dominick, Dillon, Eric, Renato Jr. Nashon Jr., James, Taylor, Elise, Rachel, Christian, Lailah, Braydeon, Gabriella, Isabella, London; great-great-granddaughter Milan; loving sister Ann Perkins along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Paul, James, sisters Ozan, and Barbara.
Visitation will be Monday, February 10, 2020 from 10am to 12pm with a service to follow at 12pm at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus.
Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
