Betty Ellen Lippold

Betty Ellen (Eisleben) Lippold, 63, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away April 2, 2025. Betty was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, partner, and friend. She was preceded in death by parents, Ellsworth “Sonny” and Virginia “Ginny” Eisleben. She is survived by her partner, Eric Johnson; children, Samantha (Alec) Smith, Jennifer (Justin) Laborce, and Thomas “Tommy” (Destiny) Lippold IV; grandchildren, Avery Smith, Leo Smith, Logan Laborce, Jett Laborce, Aubree Lippold, and Adlee Lippold; brother, Ted Eisleben; nieces, and extended family members.

Betty was an electric soul that could light up any room she entered and make a friend with anyone she crossed. She was proud of who she was and lived without regrets. She was always willing to help a loved one and put the needs of others first.

Her friends and family were her world and her greatest joy in life was being “Grammy” to her grandchildren.

A celebration of Betty’s life will occur on Saturday, April 19, 2025 with visitation from 2-4pm at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association or the Brain Aneurysm Foundation would be appreciated.
