Betty M. Scott, age 89 passed away on Friday December 1, 2017. She was born in Columbus, OH on February 9, 1928 to the late Eugene Montego and Viola Pritchard.
She was a devout Christian. Betty had a love for cooking and was known for preparing huge Thanksgiving feasts for her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Scott.
Betty is survived by her sons, Thomas E. Murray, Michael (Sylvia) Murray, Richard C. (Nancy) Love and Carlton (Bobbi) Scott; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and life long friend, Carol Tucker.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, Friday, December 8, 2017 at Newcomer Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231 where the memorial service will be held at 6:30pm.
