Betty C. Thompson

Betty C. Thompson, age 77, passed away on June 16, 2020. She was born on November 6, 1942 in Lambric, Kentucky to the late Madge and Hoke Smith.

Betty was a devout Christian and attended Grove City United Methodist. She was a cook in the Southwestern City Schools and delivered Meals-On-Wheels. Betty fostered many children over the years. Her family will remember her for her sense of humor and strength.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, James Thompson and Tricia Hale; grandchildren, Wendy (Charles) Antis, Steven Fairchild, Kevin Hale, Cody Hale, Roy Mills; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph, Michael, Jonathan, Katelyn, Christopher, Oaklyn and her beloved dog, Cocoa.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
