Betty Waddell

Betty Joyce Waddell, born February 9, 1936 in Beckwith, West Virginia passed away on January 8, 2018 at Altercare of Hilliard, OH. Betty was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Betty loved reading her Bible and spreading it's message. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed swimming, shopping and visiting the Columbus Zoo.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents Emmett and Texas Wygal; sisters Nancy Acord, Helen Rose and Deloris Fischer. Betty is survived by her husband Larry Waddell; sisters Margaret Lorenzo and Kay (Jess) Lay; brother Jack (Carol) Wygal; children Monroe "Jeff" Slone lll, Paul Slone, Flara (John) Johnson, David (Hyda) Slone, Joy (Vincent) Ciamacco; grandchildren Michael (Mary) Slone, Joshua (Diana) Slone, Eric (Rachel) Slone, Benjamin Slone; great grandchildren Summer Slone, Michael Slone Jr., Brooklynn Slone, Zachary Slone, Roman Slone, Hailey Slone.

Calling hours will be Friday, January 19, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Memorial service to be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2505 Lockbourne Rd., Columbus, OH 43207.
