Beverly Ann Daugherty

Beverly Ann Daugherty, 68, of Upper Arlington, OH passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013, with her husband by her side. Beverly was born in Columbus, OH on December 24, 1945, to Erwin D. "Bun" and Mary E. (Oman) Kimball and is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Kimball.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, William L. Daugherty; daughter, Shannon (David) Daugherty-Klein of Columbus, OH; son, Patrick (Shannon) Daugherty of Manassas, VA; sister, Sally Kimball of Columbus, OH; brother, Thomas (Betty) Kimball of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Kiefer and Keeley Klein and Emily, Hunter, Trevor Daugherty; great-grandchild, Reagan Daugherty; sister-in-law, Carol Kimball; nieces, cousins and many friends.

Beverly was a graduate of West High School Columbus, OH and Wittenberg University, Springfield, OH. She earned her Master's Degree from Pepperdine University while living in Kaneohe Bay, HI.

Beverly was a teacher at Westgate Elementary School, Columbus, OH; Mokapu School, Kaneohe Bay, HI; Havelock Elementary, Havelock, NC; Parkmoor Urban Academy, Columbus, OH; West Mound Elementary, Columbus, OH and Barrington Elementary, Upper Arlington, OH.

Her memberships included the former Twig 68 of Children's Hospital and Chapter BA of PEO Sisterhood.

A memorial service will be held for Beverly Daugherty on Saturday, March 8th at 2:00 P.M. The service will be held at the Northwest Church of the Nazarene located at 5705 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43235 (on the Northwest side of Columbus, near Worthington).
