Beverly "Bev" Bishop

Beverly Ann Bishop, 72, passed away on December 7, 2025. She was preceded in death by husband, John A. Bishop Jr. "JR"; parents, Adrian and Lulabell Ray; infant brother; and sister, Patricia Ray. Bev is survived by "her honey," Paul Thompson; daughter, Tracy Seymour; granchildren, John (Vic) Seymour and Katie (Robert) Robinett bonus kids, Brad (Ashlee) Thompson and Lisann (Xavier) Fields; grandchildren, Jacob, Tristan, Cameron, Remi, Braeden, Mallory and Avarie sister-in-law, Kimberly (Bruce) Kirk; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Bev was a member of the Eastern Star. She worked at Big Bear until their closure. Bev was a waitress for many years at various restaurants, including Western Sizzlin, Brown Derby, and The Ground Round. Bev loved making handmade gifts from the heart including needlepoint, knitting and diamond embroidery projects. She was also a very talented artist, often gifting her chalk and pencil drawings. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, and the tree could never be put up too early. In her retirement years she loved traveling with Paul and catching as many sunrises as they could together. She was "Grammy" to many, and she loved spoiling her grandkids. She also could be found spoiling the "puppers" in her life. She was dearly loved and will be missed.

Visitation Friday, December 12, 2025 from 5pm until the time of Funeral Service at 7pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
