She is preceded in death by husband Robert K Dumas, sisters Veronica, Stella and several very close friends.
Beverly is survived by daughter Denice Nelson, grandchildren Lindsay, Zachary and Mackenzie Jean Nelson, son Duane (Lori) Dumas, grandchildren Jessica (Mike) and Justin (Julie) Dumas, great granddaughter Mira. Also survived by brothers Chuck, Denny and Mike, sisters Judy, Carlotta, Bobbie and Priscilla, of Knox, Indiana.
A special thanks to best friends Linda, Jane, Maryann and Rita, brother Chuck (Janice), Dorothy (roommate at Country View for 5 years) and to the entire staff at Country View of Sunbury. All of you made life worth living and always brought a smile of love and gratitude to her face.
The Dumas and Nelson family would like to invite you to the viewing and reception that will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 5pm to 8pm.
In lieu of flowers, any donation to the Christopher Reeves Foundation for spinal cord research would be greatly appreciated.
She was a courageous, beautiful and kind woman that lived her life with such dignity and grace that she was an inspiration to us all and will be greatly missed.
