William "Bill" Beamenderfer, 72, of Galloway, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at Doctors Hospital.
He was born July 15, 1946 in Columbus, son of the late William and Loretta Metzger Beamenderfer.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, John Beamenderfer.
He served in the Air Force during Vietnam.
Bill retired from Big Bear and was also an avid O.S.U. and Browns fan and also enjoyed camping and the outdoors.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Cathy Beamenderfer; sons, Anthony Wayne (Carrie) Beamenderfer and Eric Allen Beamenderfer; step daughters, Cheryl (Jamie) Cuckler and Jennifer Dobos McCann; sisters, Karen Marando and Linda (Dogan) Turkoglu; brother, Dick (Diana) Beamenderfer; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Beamenderfer; eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, with the memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123 or to the family.
