Bill Edwards

Edwin "Bill" L. Edwards, age 89 of Westerville, passed away at his residence on January 23, 2019. He was born on January 31, 1929 to the late Everett and Rosa (Sizemore) Edwards in Huntington, WV. Bill served his country in the U.S. Marines and the Army National Guard for 21 years, was a proud graduate of West Virginia University and received his Masters from Kent State University, was a devoted educator and coach at Hudson High School for 25 years, worked at Geauga Lake Amusement Park for 26 years and in 2016 inducted into the Hudson High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Millie (Miller) Edwards, children Michael (Pam) Edwards, Debra Edwards, Sheryl (Rob) Blankenship, Jerry (Debbie) Edwards, Doug (Sarah) Edwards, Everett (Aimee) Edwards, step children Beth George, Brian Pigott and Pam Thomas, 12 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren, brother Everett E. Edwards, Jr.,sisters Nancy Conners, Helen Edwards and Faye Guntner. Along with is parents, he is preceded in death by brothers James, Paul, Robert and Jackie Edwards, sister Jean Lemine.
