Bill A. Stevens, 75, passed away March 27, 2023. He was preceded in death by parents, Willie and Mae Vera Stevens; wife, Ruthie Stevens; siblings, Lonnie Williams, Susan Stevens, and Jimmy Stevens. Bill is survived by son, Lamar (Garalena) Stevens; daughter-in-law, Sonya Stevens; grandchildren, Shaniqua Stevens, Shatasha (Sheldon) Wesley, Lamar M. Stevens; six great-grandchildren; nephew, Shawn Stevens; two nieces.
Bill graduated from East High School. He was a radio announcer for 16WVKO and Sunny 95. Bill retired from Nationwide Insurance after 33 and a half years. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Bill enjoyed listening to music. He was upbeat and funny, loving to make people laugh. He loved his family.
Per his wishes, there will be no public services. Bill will be laid to rest with his wife at Eastlawn Cemetery.
