Billy Wythe "Coffee" Johnson, age 82, left the "Big City" , was turned loose and set free on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He was born in Toms Creek, Virginia on September 6, 1934 to the late Everett and Pherba (Bond) Johnson.
He retired from Ross/Abbot Labs after 31 years. Billy loved reminiscing about growing up in Clinchco, VA. and was proud to be an American. He was a member of Blendon Masonic Lodge #339 F&AM, Valley of Columbus Scottish Rite 32nd Degree, and Aladdin Shrine.
Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha (Bert); sisters, Norma Tipton, Jean Garrett and Juda Bryant. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Linkous; Special Uncle Jim Johnson, nieces, nephews, many cousins, dear friends and neighbors.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30am, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Newcomer Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus Oh 43231 where the funeral service will be held at 10:30am with Pastor Jerry Sickles officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
