Bobby Tribune was born January 10, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio to parents Quincy and Ruth (Smith) Tribune. Bobby departed this life Monday September, 28, 2020 at age 86 at Mount Carmel Hospital in Grove City, Ohio. Bobby was a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Bobby is preceded in death by parents Ruth and Quincy Tribune and eleven (11) brothers and sisters. He leaves to cherish his memory; Marian (Swain) Tribune, his wife of 57 years, Children; Duane (Debra) Tribune, Antoinette Tribune-Colvin, Roslyn (James) Jenkins and Robert Tribune. Ten (10) grandchildren, eight (8) great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Bobby was a hard working man. He labored 32 years at Buckeye steel Castings in south Columbus making parts for railroad cars and during those years he also managed to work a part-time job during the evening. He served in the U.S. Army where he achieved the skills and title of a sharp shooter and marksman while serving in Germany. Bobby was an animal lover, not simply partial to his own pets, he also showed compassion to any roaming stray or wildlife he found wandering near his home. He liked to feed the birds and squirrels because he could see them in the tree out back waiting on him to put out the bread crumbs. Reminiscing of his youth and growing up in "Fly Town" always brought a smile to Bobby, he loved to share those stories of his past.
The visitation will be on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 1-3:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City. Private Family services to follow. *Masks are required and please social distance*
