Bonnie J. Kaufman

Bonnie J. Kaufman, 71, of Grove City, passed away peacefully at home Friday, March 9th with her husband and three children beside her. She struggled with diabetes and congestive heart failure for many years. She graduated from Linden-McKinley High School in 1964 and The Ohio State University in 1970. Survived by her loving husband Ron, daughter Amy (Tim) Bangert, son Adam Kaufman, daughter Sarah (Luke) Skidmore. Survived also by sister Diane Baugher and brother David (Cathy) Spurbeck. She loved children, especially her five grandsons; Grant, Samuel, Caleb, Isaac and Seth. She was a 35-year member of the First Baptist Church of Grove City and was involved with many children's programs. She faithfully served her Lord and Savior and it was evident in the way she lived her life. Her smile lit up a room and she loved purple, reading and crafts.

Through the years, with a college degree, she was often asked why she didn't work outside of the home. Her standard reply was "I have the most important job in the world - I am raising quality citizens."

Services to be held Thursday March 15, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Grove City, 3301 Orders Road, Grove City, OH 43123 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon and funeral services immediately following. Internment; Glen Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to OhioHealth Hospice.
