Bonnie Jean Wright (Molt), age 66, passed away on October 3rd, 2026, after a courageous and long battle with multiple sclerosis. She was born on January 20th, 1960, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ervin and Geraldine Molt.
Bonnie was a woman of incredible strength, a loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and someone whose love was most often shown through the things she did for the people around her.
Bonnie was married to her beloved husband, Mark, for 44 years. Together, they built a life and a family that meant everything to her. She leaves behind her three children, Jennifer (Jeffrey), Sean (Ronald), and Caitlyn (Mike); eight grandchildren, Madisyn, Sydney, Drew, Joel, Emmett, Hunter, Milo, and Lucas; three-great-grandchildren, Carter, Lincoln, and Finney, all who will carry her love and memory with them for generations to come. She also leaves behind three fur babies, Pinky, Coco, and Babe.
If you knew Bonnie, you knew she was hardheaded and stubborn - and she wouldn't have wanted it any other way. She knew what she believed, she stood her ground, and she wasn't afraid to tell you exactly what she thought. But, underneath that stubbornness, was one of the most selfless hearts a person could have. She gave herself freely, especially to her family, often putting everyone else's needs before her own.
One of Bonnie's greatest joys was getting her hands dirty. She loved digging in the dirt, planting fresh vegetables and flowers, and watching tings grow. She also loved cooking for her family, finding joy feeding the people she loved and bringing everyone together around the table.
That love of cooking and caring for her family was something she inherited from her late father, Erv. In many ways, Bonnie carried a piece of him with her throughout her life, and she passed that same love and tradition down to her children and grandchildren.
Her battle with multiple sclerosis was long and difficult, but Bonnie remained Bonnie through it all - strong, determined, stubborn, loving, and selfless. Her illness could take things from her, but it could never take away the love she had for her family or the impact that she had on their lives.
To her children, she was Mom. To her grandchildren, she was Mawmaw and Gigi. To her great-grandchildren, she was part of the beginning of their story. And to Mark, she was his wife and life partner of 44 years. We will miss her fiercely. Her stubbornness, her opinions, her cooking, her laughter, and her presence.
Mom, you were loved more than you could probably ever realized. Thank you for every meal, every sacrifice, every argument, every laugh, and moment that you gave us. We will carry you with us with the recipes that we make, the gardens that we grow, the traditions we keep, and most importantly, in the way we love one another.
Her fight is over now. She can finally rest.
