Brenda Christine Tamulonis

Brenda Christine Tamulonis, 80, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on September 29, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 13, 1945, to the late Harold and Reva Woodruff. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Darrell Woodruff.

Brenda was a 1963 graduate of Linden-McKinley High School. She spent her career working in retail, including Boston Store, 28 years with Wonder Bread, and later with Kohl’s during retirement.

On November 28, 1964, she married Anthony (Tony) Tamulonis. She was deeply proud of the family they built together. She is survived by her children Bryan (Christine), Kevin (Kelly), and Linda; her beloved grandchildren Samantha, Aiden, Keegan, and Katharine; her brothers- and sisters-in-law; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Brenda cherished her role as grandmother and took joy in spoiling her grandchildren whenever she could.

Brenda enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially watching her grandchildren and extended family play sports. She was a loyal fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, and Cincinnati Bengals. She also looked forward to monthly lunches with her friends and visits to the local casino to play the slot machines.

Christmas was Brenda’s favorite time of year, filled with family traditions and the joy of giving to her children and grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231, where a short service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Northlawn Memory Gardens, 7060 OH-3, Westerville, OH 43082.
