Bruce Elwin Caudy, 66, of Columbus, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018.
He was born May 25, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio.
Master Sergeant Caudy began his 28 year military career in the United States Marine Corps and retired from the Ohio Army National Guard in 2010. He continued to serve the State of Ohio by providing food service to the Ohio Military Reserve.
Bruce will be deeply missed by his; mother Rose Marie (Gillenwater) Caudy; brothers Patrick Irish (Pattie) Caudy and Ernest Glen Caudy; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father Ernest Caudy and sister Brenda Carol Caudy.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 7, 2018, from 2 pm to 5 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11 am at the funeral home with Chaplain Gary Lehman officiating.
Burial will be at Jefferson Township Cemetery, where military honors will be conducted.
