“The Love You Take… Is Equal to The Love You Make.”
At the stroke of midnight on March 22, 2025, Bruce Saxon Wise left this plane after a month of music, merriment, and treasured time with his family.
Bruce lived life to the absolute fullest. He was born on September 10, 1947, in Baltimore, MD. Paul and Mary Wise were caring and spiritual parents. Bruce has carried his love of the lord and personal relationship with Jesus throughout his life. During his travels, he always found a church. Knowing that he is in the arms of his Lord is a comfort to us all.
He was very close with his brother, Walter Wise (US Marine 1968-72). They enjoyed the water and fishing, waterskiing, and sunshine. They were able to reminisce and enjoy those memories in his final days.
Bruce attended Wooster College in Ohio and achieved a degree in biology. Next, Bruce met Casyle Wiggins, Jr., and they married in 1968. They had their first child, Samantha Sullivan Wise, on March 26, 1969. Tirzah Randolph Wise was born September 17, 1973. Then came Colin Patrick Wise on July 6, 1977.
He is survived by his brother Walter Wise (Carol Wise), nephews Wiley, Joe, and Grant Wise. His children are Samantha Sullivan Wise (Joe Ekins), Tirzah Randolph Wise (Naader Shagagi and John Wear-div.), and Colin Patrick Wise (Tiffany Groves). He was immensely proud of his seven grandchildren:
Ellaheh Wise Shagagi-6-15-02
Hollis Audrey Ekins- 8-26-04
Esa Saxon Shagagi- 10-29-05
Colin Patrick Wise II- 1-2-07
Eliot Thomas Wise 9-27-07
Sullivan Rebecca Wise 7-12-08
Donovan Ray Wise 1- 18-18
Bruce had a vibrant career in insurance. It took him on many adventures and many locations to live in the US. His children benefitted from the different experiences it provided-wonderful excursions and experiences in various areas of the United States.
Bruce enjoyed fishing and golfing with his son and grandchildren. He has golfed all over the country. Pebble Beach in California, Orchard Valley in Illinois and Darby Creek in Ohio are among his favorite courses.
Bruce was also a musician and music lover. He played guitar, saxophone, flute, harmonica and sang. His final days were full of his favorite songs and meaningful music. If you hear a song that reminds you of Bruce, it is him. Listen with your entire soul. He wants that for you.
