Buan He

Buan He was born on February 2, 1972 at Thau Village, Chin State, Myanmar; and was raised at his village until he went to Malaysia in 1995. He immigrated to the USA in 2009 with his wife and three sons. He has been fighting Larynx cancer since 2010 and lung cancer again in March 2016. He went to his eternal home to be with the Lord on October 30, 2016 at the age of 44 after a long battle with two cancers. He is survived by his wife, Rem Sui Kum Pi; his sons Thawng Za Lian, Van Bawi Hnin, Ram Uk Bawi and Jeremiah Thawng. He left his parents and eight siblings behind too.


He was a brave and strong young man and was an encourager and a model for his country fellows. He was a loving and caring father. He was very happy and kind. He loved to smile. He always smiled even with pain in his body. Everybody loved him so deeply. His beloved family members and all his church members are deeply saddened that at his leaving this world too soon. He will always be remembered in our hearts as a model father; a dedicated church member; a brave, kind and gentle man by all his country fellows. May his soul rest in peace with the Lord.
