Byron Denver McDade, a steadfast and devoted family man, passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and unwavering faith. Born on May 6, 1950, Byron dedicated his life to providing for his family and cultivating cherished memories with his loved ones.

A true embodiment of resilience, Byron worked tirelessly across three jobs, managing a rental property, running a snowplow business, and maintaining his regular nine-to-five position. His incessant dedication was fueled by a deep desire to ensure his family had everything they needed. This tireless work ethic showcased his commitment as a provider, while his hands-on skills affirmed his identity as a very handy man who could fix just about anything that came his way.

Byron found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. Among his favorite pastimes was spending quality time with his grandson, Jace Smeltzer, whose laughter brought light to his days. He delighted in perfecting his golf swing and often spoke of his love for his office, a place he cherished more than anything in this world. For Byron, each moment spent with family was a treasure, particularly those memorable vacations at Lake Side, which his daughter proudly recalls as a source of joy and bonding.

Those who knew Byron recognized his welcoming nature and unwavering positivity. He was a man who always put others ahead of himself, ready with a helping hand whenever someone was in need. His supportive words, especially when offering comfort during tough times by reminding others to "Pray about it," served as a guiding light for many.

His proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly his family, whom he revered deeply. Byron is survived by his beloved wife, Jacqueline A McDade, daughters Stephanie McDade and Karie McDade, and his cherished grandson, Jace Smeltzer. His legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.

Byron is preceded in death by his mother, Lucille McDade, and dear friends Emma and her husband Giseppe Bindas. Though he is no longer with us, the warmth of his spirit and the gentle wisdom he shared will forever remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate a life that was truly well-lived, a life dedicated to family, and a life overflowing with kindness and compassion.
