It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved daughter, Caitlynn Marie Burns. She left us too soon on May 12, 2025, at the young age of 22. She was preceded in death by her brother Bradley Burns; step grandfather Gary “Jose” Haughn.
Caity graduated from Central Crossing in 2020. She was a radiant presence in the lives of everyone she touched. Family meant everything to her and she cherished anytime spent with them. Her unforgettable laugh, kindness, and vibrant spirit had the ability to brighten any room. Caity enjoyed playing softball, trap shooting, kayaking, music and dancing. She enjoyed being outdoors and traveling .
Caity will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her dad, John R Burns Jr (Brittany Bowsher); mom, Aileena Sue(Jamie) Haughn; brother, Anthony (Jordan) Catalfina; sister/other mother Brianna (Gage Church)Taylor; her grandparents, John & Tommie Sue Burns; Ray & Kaye VanWagner; Debbie Haughn; her nephews and niece, her loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends (too many to list). Though Caitlynn is no longer with us, the love and light she brought into the world will remain in our hearts always. Her infectious smile, compassionate heart and wonderful sense of humor will be forever be cherished in our hearts.
We welcome all who knew and loved her to join us in sharing memories of her remarkable life. Visitation Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Friday, May 23, 2025 at10:30am at the funeral home.
