Carey Jamison

Carey "Pete" Jamison, age 69 passed away at Mount Carmel Grove City on Sunday, June 26, 2016. He was born on October 23, 1946 in Lawshe, OH to the late Glen and Dorothy Jamison.
Pete was a Past Master of West Gate F. & A.M. Masonic Lodge # 623. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite and Order of the Eastern Star, Grove City, Chapter # 502. He was also a proud Kentucky Colonel. Pete liked riding his motorcycle, playing his guitar and making music with his friends. He always had a great time working with his Masonic brothers. Above all else he loved his family and truly enjoyed spending time with them.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Gordon Jamison. Pete is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Rita Jamison; son Mark (Jill) Jamison; grandchildren, Cole and Kaleigh Jamison; siblings, Robert (Klaus) Jamison, Marguerite Nolte, Glen (Donna) Jamison, Brenda (Gary) Antle, Carlean (Jim) French, Ralph Jamison, Christy (D.A.) Jamison, Carolyn (Doug) Cox, John (Elaine) Jamison, Anita Jamison, Lisa Litteral; sister-in-law, DeAnna (Harvey) Powell; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2pm to 6:00pm, Friday, July 1, 2016 where a Masonic Service will be held at 6:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, 3393 Broadway, Grove City 43123.
