Carl R. Armbrust, age 87 of Grove City, OH passed June 1, 2017. Born March 24, 1930 in Columbus, OH.
Preceded in death by parents Adam and Lois Armbrust; daughter Royce Ann Hines; mother-in-law Garnet Buzby; brothers Louis, Harold, Bill, Bob, and Chuck; and sister Lois "Dimples".
Survived by wife of 67 years, Carol Buzby Armbrust; son Eric (Marilyn); daughter Christine (James) Eide; Son-in-law John Hines; sisters Eva, and Jean; grandchildren Erica (Dan), Paul (Lori), Brian (Kristen), Jack, Caroline (Adam), Allison (Matt), Karilyn, and Laura; great-grandchildren Wyatt, Adam, Luke, Mary, Sammy, Rebecca, Giuliana, Jaxon, Madelyn, Oliver, Riley, and Dean; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Devoted husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, and friend. Graduate of Central High Class of 1950. Proudly served in the Army with the occupational forces in Japan. He was a grateful and humble man and committed his life paying it back by volunteering in the community with various charities like Charity Newsies and Meals On Wheels. A believer in Christ and member of First Baptist Church Grove City.
Visitations will be held on Tuesday June 6, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with services on Wednesday June 7, 2017 at 11am. Services to be officiated by Pastor Dave Berna. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH. In lieu of flowers please donate to the International Foundation of CDKL5 Research, P.O. Box 926 Wadsworth, OH 44282 to benefit Madelyn Armbrust or Charity Newsies, 4300 Indianola Avenue, Columbus, OH 43214.
