Carl "Bud" Schwitters, 88, of Powell, OH, passed away on November 26, 2024. He was a loving husband of 59 years to his wife Kathy, who died in 2022, and father to their surviving son Paul and elder son Jay.
He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity at Valparaiso University in Indiana and spent two years in the Air Force on active and reserve duty.
He had a 25 year career as a controller/manager for Sears and ran accounting and transportation businesses after his retirement.
He was an avid golfer and life-long fan of the Packers and Brewers in Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his sister Theda Siebert.
There will be a memorial gathering on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 1:00pm at Newcomer Powell; 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, Ohio, followed by a service at 2:00pm at the funeral home.
