Carl Cathel, 77, passed away on May 25, 2017. He was born on June 17, 1939. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita, parents, Carl Sr. and Bernice Cathel, brothers, Marion, Merle, Jerry and Paul.
Surviving family includes daughter, Michelle (Scott) Smith, granddaughter, Jenna Smith, siblings, Roger (Edie) Cathel, Linda (Paul) Welsh, Sharon (Jim) Pontious, close cousin, Mary Gillispie.
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
A funeral service will begin at 10am, Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Muhlenberg Township Cemetery.
