Carl E. Bradley, Sr., aged 79, passed away at home 1/19/14.
Survived by wife of 45 years, Phyllis Bradley; children, Carl E. (Carol) Bradley, Jr. of Reynoldsburg, Albert Conner of Mesa, AZ, Donald Bradley, Carla (Matt) Dillon of Mt. Vernon, Robert (Allison) Ward of Pittsburgh, PA, Dennis Ward, Tonya Bradley, Douglas Bradley, Bettina Ward; 10 grandchildren, including Liz Castle, whose professional help was greatly appreciated; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur (Delores) Bradley of Delaware, OH; sister, Martha Borders of Grove City; many nieces and nephews; many friends at the Waffle House.
Preceded in death by mother, Vera Bradley; father, Stephen Bradley; brothers, Stephen Bradley and James Bradley; sister, Ruby Miller; grandchildren, Christopher Bradley, Nicholas Ward, and Antonio Altiere. Former Franklin County Special Duty Deputy Sheriff. Retired truck driver from Teamsters 413.
A visitation for Carl will be held on Wednesday, 1/22/14 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231. Services will be on Thursday, 1/23/14 at 11:00am, also at Newcomer Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Fairview Memorial Park, 5035 Rt 23 North, Delaware, OH 43015. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund,6500 Busch Blvd, Ste 210. Columbus, OH 43229, or www.heartlandhospicefund.org.
