Carl Edward Lowe

Carl Edward Lowe, born on November 26, 1970, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on July 15, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness, humor, and unwavering faith.

Carl dedicated his career to small engine repair, a passion he enjoyed deeply until he could no longer work. Even in his final days, he continued to help others by sharing his knowledge and expertise on how to fix their machines. His love for fixing things was matched only by his love for those around him, making him a cherished figure in his community.

Family was the cornerstone of Carl's life. He proudly created a wonderful life with his wife, Angela Lowe, whom he often referred to as his "ride or die." Together, they built a family that brought him immense joy. He is survived by his mother, Jean Ann Smythe, and his children: Sarena (Spenser) Partlow, Ryan (Jaclyn) Whitehead, Carl (Andrea) Lowe, Jr., and Kevin (Angelina) Lowe. Carl was a proud grandfather to Makayla, Isaac, Carly, Janna, Shaelin, Oliver, Raigan, Elijah, and Grayson. His heart was full of pride for the life he built with his family and the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.

Those who knew Carl remember him as a funny man who loved making people laugh. He was kind-hearted and caring, always putting others before himself. His strong belief in his faith guided him throughout his life and served as a source of strength for those who loved him.

Carl is preceded in death by his father, Thurman Eugene Lowe, and his brother, Joseph Lowe. His memory will be honored and cherished by his surviving family and friends.

A Memorial Gathering for Carl will be held on July 27, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service from 3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast, located at 3047 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231.

Carl Edward Lowe will be greatly missed, but his legacy of laughter, love, and devotion to family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
